Perhaps you’re in the process of building a large subdivision and you’ve come across a stream associated with wetlands. Maybe you are conducting road construction and encounter an eagle’s nest or gopher tortoise burrows. A private entity may need a federal listed species survey before development. These are all issues that our clients encounter. Riverside Environmental Consulting, LLC addresses these biological, aquatic, terrestrial and water issues with an ultimate goal of managing the natural resources on which we all depend.
Riverside Environmental Consulting, LLC specializes in all areas of natural resource management, including planning, mitigation, and permitting that are related to the Endangered Species Act (ESA) and other critical legislation for terrestrial and aquatic species and their habitats. Mr. Fitch is a Certified Taxonomist (Genus Level) for Eastern Ephemeroptera, Plecoptera, and Trichoptera Larvae by the Society of Freshwater Science. In addition, company personnel recently completed Land Transect Distance Sampling (LTDS) to estimate gopher tortoise populations. More information available on gopher tortoise populations will help USFWS make the best decision in regards to listing the species in its eastern range.
